Introduction of Plants
According to the 2nd edition of “Flora of Taiwan” published in 2003, in Taiwan the estimated species of ferns are about 630, gymnosperms 28, and angiosperms 3,600. Compared to those of the whole world, plant species in Taiwan are quite disparaging. Based on the study from kaohsiung Wild Bird Society, Niaosong Wetland Park has 300 plant species.
